Community Engagement Fair

Group: Center for Community Engaged Learning

From the group:

The Community Engagement Fair (CEF) took place on Sept. 21, 2022, in Coffman Memorial Union's Great Hall. Attendees were able to connect with 62 community partners and campus resources to learn more about ways to get involved in the community through volunteer and internship opportunities in a wide variety of issue areas. Community partners always look forward to the fair because they love working with U of M students. The fair provides a unique opportunity for U of M members to learn about and connect with local organizations they may not otherwise have heard of or had the chance to connect with. 60% of attendees reported reaching out to an organization after the event to learn more information. 92% of attendees also responded that they would encourage others to attend the fair in the future.
