From the group:

The Underrepresented Students in STEM Symposium - Twin Cities was geared towards underrepresented students in STEM from the Twin Cities area, including UMN. This event focused on providing a platform for students to present their research to industry professionals, professors, peers, and graduate student mentors, and learn about the process of applying to graduate school and graduate student life. We also provided a time for resume reviewing with STEM professionals and headshots. We aim to make this a completely free event to make sure that cost is never an issue for attending, we provided a catered lunch along with snacks throughout the day, and print each research poster for the students.
